Chemistry Expands to Europe

Toronto, Munich, July 17, 2008 – Leading North American-based brand management consultancy Chemistry announced today that it has opened an office to serve Europe and emerging markets.

“While we started this company with clients on both sides of the Atlantic, we primarily focused on establishing our base here in Canada”, explains Chemistry partner Will Novosedlik. “But some of the key components of our practice had been informed by our experiences in northern and central Europe, so when an opportunity to re-enter that market arose, we jumped at it.”

That opportunity came in the person of Stephen Blanchette, who leaves his position as Director of Brand & Advertising at Madrid-based ONO, Spain’s leading triple-play telecommunications provider, where during the past two years he has been responsible for completely revitalising the brand.

Before that, Stephen served as Director of Brand Experience & Brand Planning at Vodafone Czech Republic (formerly Oskar Mobil) in Prague, where he and his team created and oversaw the company’s far-reaching brand experience platform, now used by operations around the world.

“Stephen’s reputation as a brand experience pioneer will add tremendous depth to that aspect of our practice”, says Chemistry partner Susan McGibbon. “Many say they do brand experience, but Stephen is a genuine leader in the field. We are thrilled to have him join our team.”

Stephen will run Chemistry’s Europe and emerging markets practice from offices in Munich, leading engagements across Europe, the UK and Africa.
